I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and the other members of Sonoran Sound for contributing to our International Festival again this year. . . people are still talking about how teriffic you guys are! Thank you for your participation in the 2009 CONFAM. Your generous contribution put Tucson at the top of the reunion planner's destination list. Your National Anthem was, hands down, the loveliest I've ever heard at a military function (not to mention most non-military functions as well!), and your rendition of the Air Force Song had everyone out of their seats! I also loved hearing so many of my favorite. . . songs at the reception. As far as I'm concerned, you guys MADE the event. How do we find ways to share our humanity with others? Poets and authors use words. Actors use scripts. Sonoran Sound uses music and their dynamic personalities. They blend their spirits and voices to uplift, energize and inspire all whom are privileged to hear them perform. At Radiation Oncology at University Medical Center, they brightened the lives of those individuals who have been impacted by a Cancer diagnosis. If you could have seen the faces of our patients, families and staff during our holiday party. . . you would have known that each was touched by the magic of Sonoran Sound and also perhaps a bit transformed! We are deeply grateful to this wonderful group of performers! Thanks 4 sharing your amazing sound! Wow! You guys flippin' rock my socks! Keep on singin'. |
